- CARICOM Jurisdiction: If your driver’s license is issued within the CARICOM (Caribbean Community) jurisdiction, you can rent a vehicle with your standard, valid driver’s license without the need for additional permits.
- Outside CARICOM Jurisdiction: For individuals with driver’s licenses issued outside the CARICOM jurisdiction, a permit from the government of Dominica is required. Please make sure to obtain this permit before proceeding with the rental.
2. Driver Qualifications:
- Age Requirement: To rent a vehicle from Jay’s Motor Car Rental, drivers must be at least 25 years of age. This age requirement ensures the safety and responsible use of our rental vehicles.
